The Raising a Scholar Mentor Program is a tutoring program designed to assist students who are facing challenges that limit their access to educational resources.

Many schools today lack experienced teachers, infrastructure, technology, and a quality-updated curriculum. As a mentor, you will help decrease the effects of these problems. You will be assigned a student with whom you will tutor on scheduled days.

As the need for quality education becomes a priority across the globe, we are hoping you will help in the fight for educational equity and equality.

After submitting an interest form to become a mentor, you will get an email from a representative giving further instructions. The next step will be registering for orientation to prepare you for sessions.

The Raising a Scholar Meet and Greet is one of the most exciting parts of being a Mentor. After the training, Mentors get paired with a student based on criteria. Mentors and mentees will then get to exchange introduction videos with one another before sessions start. Introduction videos are fun and casual. It is a chance to introduce yourself to your potential mentee. 

Great! You did it. Now that you are an official mentor, you can start bonding, learning, and growing with your mentee. Our program supervisors and ambassadors will be there to help you at all times.
